The gauge table shows OUTAGE volumes (volumes of vapor space above the liquid surface). Distances shown are measured from the shell-full (zero outage) level to the surface of the liquid. This is from the inside top of the tank for most tank cars and from the bottom of the manway for most compartment tanks.

The gauge table values listed should be considered as reasonable estimates only. In most instances, the values have been rounded up or down and are provided to our customers as a convenience.
